This past Sunday it was announced that our Church Council has made the decision to transition from three to two Sunday morning services. One service will be contemporary, and other one will be traditional in nature. I’m hopeful that our new worship schedule will both glorify God and meet the needs of our community of faith.
Which brings me to a question I’m asked often: What time will the two services be meeting? Actually, our Church Council will gather again in March to set the times for the services as well as a date for the transition. Know that our congregational leaders covet your prayers as they seek to make wise decisions for the future of our church.
Of course, if you have any questions about these changes or any other matter, don’t hesitate to reach out to Mike Alef, Church Council Chair, Dr. Steve Shirley, Lay Leader, or any other member of the council. Additional copies of our 2020 Committee Leadership can be found at the sanctuary or maroon awning entrances if the one mailed out in January has become misplaced. We have a lot going for us as a church. Let’s pause and thank God for all He’s doing among us!
