Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I’ve been reflecting on our past year of ministry, and I want you to know how proud I am of our congregation. Let me explain.
We’ve grown. While most churches in America are on the decline, we grew last year. In both membership and worship attendance, we were blessed with increases. Not only that, but our new members are active. They sing in the choir, help with sound needs, teach Sunday School, work with our youth, play hand bells, serve communion, visit the sick, worship frequently, and so much more.
We are experiencing an incredible time of generosity. Hold on to your hats for this number: Our congregation gave over $906,000 toward our budgeted ministries last year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Since becoming your pastor in 2016, I have constantly been blown away by your commitment to our church and its ministries.
Our community of faith is strong, and we are heading in a good direction. Yet let’s never lose sight of the fact that the Lord’s mission never ends. The least, last, and lost still need us. We live in a world that so desperately needs to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Let’s continue to share it with everyone we meet!
Again, thank you for your faithfulness. I am so proud to be your pastor.
