The objective of the music ministry is to equip our congregation to better praise God, whether they are in a musical group or in the pew. Singing in the worship services is a offering to God in body, mind, and spirit. Listening to musical offerings is another way to worship and commune with God. Every note that is sung or played is a gift to our Creator who lovingly gave us the gift of music.
Our Chancel choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. on the 3rd floor music suite. The purpose of the Chancel Choir is to move people’s hearts and mind closer to God. Choral music can serve to move people emotionally and intellectually.
