Dear Church Family,
It’s about to get really busy around here!
Our Wednesday evening activities will kick-off on August 17, and I know you’ll want to mark your calendar so that you can get re-engaged with our mid-week offerings. Wednesday night gives us unique ways to stay connected. Consider:
- The opportunity to have a delicious yet low-cost weekly dinner with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Plus, you don’t have to cook! Make sure to make your reservations.
- Of course, you’ll want to stay for the Pastor’s Bible Study, Prayer Group, or one of the many other activities that takes place for adults and children. For the fall, I’ll be leading a Bible study on 1 Corinthians. Come see what was going on in the early church in Corinth and how it might be relevant to our own day.
Additionally, let me suggest two other great ways to get plugged-in to our community of faith:
- Join a Sunday School Class. We have many excellent classes and two more that are forming. Give me a call, and I’ll help you get connected with a class.
- Participate on Sunday evening. This is going to be a great time to connect with others in learning and prayer. Watch for more details, but circle September 11 on your calendar as our kick-off for “Three Months of Prayer and Preparation.” My deepest prayer is that Sunday nights can become an oasis of prayer and small group connections.
We can’t live our faith alone on a personal island, so make sure you get the most out of our great church by connecting to fellow believers. You will be blessed!
